At the end of March, the representatives of the National Ombudsman are coming to the Caribbean Netherlands. During consultation hours they will receive complaints about the Government agencies in Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.
They can assist residents with problems with, for example, the Dutch Caribbean Tax Authorities, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Police, the Island Government and Government Service Caribbean Netherlands RCN.
Residents can file their complaints via the Ombudsman’s website, by phone, or by contacting the National Ombudsman personally.
Twice a year, representatives of the National Ombudsman arrange for consultation hours on Bonaire, Saba and Statia.
They will be in Gertrude Judson Bicentennial Public Library in Statia on Monday, March 19, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Consultations with Sabans will be held at Eugenius Johnson Centre in Windwardside on Thursday, March 22, from 9:00am to 12:00pm and at Queen Wilhelmina Public Library in The Bottom on Saturday, March 24, from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
The Ombudsman’s representatives will be in Bonaire from Monday, March 26, through Thursday, March 29.
